The organizers of the annual Taste of Minnesota festival have revealed the food lineup for the 2026 event, promising a culinary showcase that reflects the growing diversity and international influence of Minneapolis’ food scene. This year’s theme, “100 Ways to Taste Minnesota,” aims to highlight the city’s evolution into a nationally recognized food destination.
The free two-day festival will take place on July 3 and July 4 along Nicollet Mall and Washington Avenue in downtown Minneapolis, bringing together restaurants, food trucks, local makers, musicians, and community organizations for one of the state’s largest Fourth of July celebrations.
Local Favorites Headline the Menu
Festival organizers say attendees can expect dozens of food vendors representing a wide range of cuisines and cultures. Among the featured vendors are:
- Soul Bowl
- The Anchor Fish & Chips
- Pimento Jamaican Kitchen
The vendor lineup is designed to showcase the multicultural flavors that have helped shape Minnesota’s culinary identity, from Caribbean and African-inspired dishes to classic Midwestern favorites. Organizers say the event will feature approximately 100 restaurants, food trucks, makers, and community experiences.
More Than Just Food
Beyond the dining experience, Taste of Minnesota will feature a strong lineup of Minnesota musicians, including:
- Poliça
- Dessa
- Brother Ali
- Ant
- Gully Boys
Festival-goers can also enjoy local art vendors, interactive activities, adoption events, performances, and family-friendly entertainment throughout the weekend.
Building on Growing Popularity
Taste of Minnesota has quickly become one of the state’s premier summer events. Organizers report that approximately 135,000 people attended last year’s festival, with attendance reaching capacity during a headline performance by rapper Ludacris.
As Minneapolis continues to gain national attention for its vibrant and diverse restaurant scene, this year’s festival is positioning itself as both a celebration of local culture and a showcase of the city’s growing reputation as a global culinary hub.
For visitors and residents alike, Taste of Minnesota 2026 offers an opportunity to experience the flavors, music, and creativity that define modern Minnesota—all in one downtown celebration.
